Thank you for your interest in learning more about the Desert CAMFT chapter of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.
Desert CAMFT is a local chapter of the larger state organization, the
California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT)*. Like many
local chapters, Desert CAMFT was formed to create a more intimate, localized,
and accessible community of Marriage and Family Therapists for the purposes of
networking, professional development, and career support. Through regular
chapter meetings, networking opportunities, committee participation, and
programs, members are afforded important opportunities to connect with one
another and form lasting professional relationships in what might otherwise be
a lonely profession.
Desert CAMFT has gone through an interesting evolution over the years and
our current chapter is energized and rejuvenated, thanks to a small group of
motivated MFTs who insisted on participating in the comfort and support of a
vibrant professional community. The chapter now proudly consists of approximately 100 members , and we are growing by the minute!
