Helping Individuals Affected by California Wildfires

Get Care and Support

In response to the devastating wildfires in California, Magellan wants to ensure that affected individuals – members and non-members alike – get the help and support they need.

Counseling and resources available to the community
We have made a variety of resources available to support those affected, regardless of whether they are covered by Magellan. Specifically, we have opened a toll-free 24-hour crisis line to help individuals as they cope with feelings of fear, sadness, anger and hopelessness related to this disaster.

Phone number to access counseling services and resources at no charge:

We provide confidential counseling services and other resources, such as referrals to local non-profit organizations, shelters and additional community-based support.

In addition, we’ve published tip sheets with resources specific to wildfire preparedness, evacuation procedures and steps towards recovery. We feel it is important to make these resources available broadly, so please share this information with your patients, colleagues and others, even if they are not associated with Magellan.

Any further needs?
Contact us 24/7 at the phone number on the back of the member’s insurance card to connect with our customer service and triage care managers to discuss your concerns.

In California, Magellan does business as Human Affairs International of California, Inc. and/or Magellan Health Services of California, Inc. – Employer Services.www.MagellanProvider.com
