2018 UPCOMING CHAPTER EVENT
2019 Membership Drive
The Desert Chapter is now at the beginning of our 2019 Membership Drive.
If you are a member of state CAMFT, you are eligible to join our local chapter. Annual membership in Desert CAMFT is only $50 for Clinical, Associate and Affiliate members, and $25 for Associates and Trainees (tax deductible of course). Click here to see the benefits of membership.
The Board is
exploring future workshops on clinical situations that we see
in our practices, such as Bi-Polar, DID, psychosis, addictions, etc. Our goal is to have two workshops per month for our members. Let us know if you are interested in being
part of a panel to discuss these clinical issues or additional
topics, or are interested in attending a workshop exploring
greater understanding of these diagnoses
and ways to work with them. You can contact Carol Teitelbaum

Desert CAMFT is excited to announce this wonderful benefit for our Clinical Members.
We often practice in isolation and need the opportunity to consult with others and gain support. These groups offer an ongoing forum for case consultation with a variety of other experienced therapists in your area. We envision each group with a limit of eight therapists, with the "host" at each site setting the schedules.
If you would like to host an additional group in
Palm Springs or Palm Desert
contact Carol Teitelbaum or Larry Goodman
• New Membership for Retirees
Retirees can join the Desert CAMFT Chapter without having to join state CAMFT - go to JOIN NOW! to apply.
We organize multiple events throughout the year, including CE workshops, by both local members and outside presenters, as well as social networking events. These are important occasions for our professionals to participate in, to stay up-to-date on the latest information in our field and maintain an interactive referral network. So, take a look at our upcoming and past events here. We also welcome any new ideas for possible future events.
Desert CAMFT is a local chapter of the larger state organization, the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT)*. Like many local chapters, Desert CAMFT was formed to create a more intimate, localized, and accessible community of Marriage and Family Therapists for the purposes of networking, professional development, and career support. Find out more about who we are, what we do, and our Board of Directors.
