I am a wife, a mother, a daughter, a sister, a friend, a colleague and a therapist. But most importantly, I am a fellow human being.

I began my career in my early 20’s as a registered nurse at a children’s hospital, where I observed the ways in which people cope when faced with overwhelming fear and uncertainty. As time passed and I experienced my own hardships, I learned the importance of having a safety net of trusted relationships to feel supported and less alone, which led me to return to school to learn more about ways in which we can show up for one another as humans.

After graduate school I returned to the hospital, this time as a medical social worker and again working with patients and families during some of the most difficult times of their lives. I saw myself in them, and them in me. Soon after, I also opened my private practice, training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), which gave me a road map to help clients get unstuck and create more secure emotional bonds in their relationships.

Today, I solely work in my small private practice, continuing to study and practice EFT, in a wholehearted attempt to offer my clients a safe emotional space from which to explore, repair and heal disrupted connections within themselves and between others. I see clients from my home office using Telehealth and in person from my office in Rancho Mirage.

When not in the office, I can be found spending time with my family and friends, cooking, reading, traveling and practicing yoga.
